How to prepare for a deep clean
Please remove personal belongings, clothes, dishes, rubbish and loose items from areas that need cleaning before we arrive.
Valuable, fragile or sentimental items should be put away safely before the visit.
We need clear access to the areas being cleaned, including windows, floors, bathrooms, kitchen surfaces, skirting boards and appliances.
Deep cleaning is not a decluttering or organising service. If you need help with sorting cupboards, wardrobes, clothes or storage areas, please book Home Organisation separately.
If access is blocked by clutter, furniture or personal belongings, some areas may not be cleaned properly.
Is this the same as regular cleaning?
No. Regular cleaning is maintenance cleaning for homes already kept to a manageable standard. Deep cleaning is for build-up, neglected areas, limescale, grease, dust and catch-up cleaning.
Do I need to be at home?
No. You do not need to stay at home during the clean. It is usually easier and safer if the property is quiet and we have clear access to the areas being cleaned.
What if the property needs more time?
If we see that more time is needed, we will discuss this with you before continuing or ask for a bigger budget if needed. Extra time must be agreed upon before it is added.
Can I book this instead of regular cleaning?
Yes. Deep cleans and one-off cleans are suitable for occasional cleaning or homes that are not cleaned weekly or fortnightly.
Regular domestic cleaning is only available weekly or fortnightly. Any cleaning booked every three weeks, monthly, occasionally or as a catch-up clean is treated as a deep clean / one-off service.
